Yes, we encourage you to bring toys and blankets so that your precious pet has a familiar scent to hold onto while you’re away. Please note: we do not allow bean bags as these items have the tendencies to explode while the dogs aren't watching... making our kennels look like a white Christmas!
Dogs can get territorial, which is why we minimise any risk of injury by keeping dogs in their own runs. Being introduced to a new environment can be a stressful experience, especially for anxious dogs. Keeping dogs in individual runs and providing personal space can significantly alleviate unnecessary stress.
Cats are typically territorial and anti-social by nature, which is why we minimise the risk of territorial behaviour and injury by allowing them their own cat suite. Individual cat suites prevent any fights from occurring. What’s more, to ensure that all cats are as comfortable as possible, every suite has a waist level bench. We allow cats (individually) to explore the cat Loungeroom as well as the entire Cattery.
We have an experienced veterinary nurse onsite who keeps an eye out for any cats or dogs that may be sick or injured. In the event that sickness or injury does occur - our vet nurse assesses the situation and we do our best to get your pet in to see their regular vet. If out of hours then we may need to seek veterinary care elsewhere and this is done at the owners expense, plus a transport fee. To minimise disease risk, we ask all pet owners to vaccinate their cats with the F3 vaccinations and dogs with C5 vaccinations.
Yes, if your cat or dog requires regular medication, our onsite veterinary nurse and animal carers can help administer them for no additional charge!
